Plagiarism and Similarity
The authors must ensure that the submitted work is original and has not been published in any other journal or publication. Copyrighted materials (e.g., tables, figures, or extensive quotations) should be reproduced with proper permission and acknowledgment.
The NuMAS submission system seamlessly integrates with Crossref Similarity Check, powered by iThenticate. Upon successful submission, all files are automatically sent to iThenticate for a plagiarism check, and the results are displayed on the editor's dashboard.
The policy of the NuMAS journal is to allow a maximum similarity index of up to 20% compared to other sources. The editors will carefully check the submitted manuscript before the review process. It will be immediately declined for the submitted articles beyond the maximum allowable similarity.
