Call for Papers Volume 2, Number 1
NuMAS is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing scholarship on the Nusantara region, or the Malay Archipelago. It publishes biannually (March and September) and serves as a platform for interdisciplinary research that deepens understanding of the region.
The journal is committed to fostering pluralistic, decolonial, and regionally grounded scholarship, encouraging contributions that highlight the unique cultural and historical heritage of the Nusantara world.
Special NoteThe editorial team wishes to highlight that we are still lacking a sufficient number of papers for Volume 2, No. 1 (March 2026). We warmly encourage scholars, researchers, and graduate students to submit their manuscripts and help strengthen this upcoming issue.
